At this year’s Rexdale Khalsa Parade, the Tuhi Tuhi Foundation proudly set up a vibrant fundraising booth surrounded by music, food, and celebration. Our team spent the day engaging with families and parade-goers, sharing the mission behind The Vohra Project—our initiative to fund accessible psychiatry for children through SickKids.

With handmade signs, donation jars, and student volunteers in Tuhi Tuhi T-shirts, we brought energy and purpose to the festivities. The support was overwhelming—people stopped to learn, donate, and take home brochures, and we had great conversations with students interested in starting branches at their own schools.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, we raised over $2,000 in just one afternoon. The day was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when youth, culture, and compassion come together.
